The pirates had them hurt and on the run. The crew of the Tortuga Elegante were used to the risks in the far-flung systems of the galaxy’s outer arm, however they were too remote and too damaged to escape. The only option for them was to run and hide in the upper atmosphere of an enormous gas giant. Plunging into the gaseous atmosphere they discover countless moons and asteroids in low orbit. Amongst all the objects their injured ship needs to avoid they also discover an enormous ship. From everything they can tell, it is alien. In all the solar systems humans had migrated to, no sign of intelligent life had been discovered. With the pirates bearing down on them, would the discovery ever be known, or would the crew of Tortuga Elegante end up taking the discovery to their graves.
